No Live pictures here. These are some stills taken while I was trying to find a good location. This set of fairly unimpressive pictures was taken with a WinCam by Star Dot Technologies. Some were sent straight to my Thinkpad 's serial port; others were transmitted via modem back to the big city. While it has some nifty features, it didn't allow me to do what I wanted, so I'm currently using several Connectix QuickCams (now made by Logitech). The best pictures were taken from the roof, which is not a good place to leave a camera. Although I was not happy when one of the trees in the front yard died during the spring of 1997, it turns out that I now have a better view of the ocean than I did before. | ||
